Meet Your Ranchers
Abraham & Kim here,
Great to meet you! Since 2021, we have been rotating sheep on our small ranch using a regenerative agriculture approach. We use a combination of metal panels and electric netting to move the animals up and down over 30 acres of pasture, only grazing one small paddock at a time. This ensures that the land is not being overgrazed while also allowing the necessary animal traffic to disturb the soil, allow new grass seed to spread, and improve water infiltration. After just a few years, we have even seen mushrooms growing out on the pasture due to the land's improved ability to retain moisture. Our animals love the lush grass, too!
